Attenuated naturally oncolytic, and genetically engineered oncolytic viruses can be turned against cancer cells. Cancer cells may yield to small molecular enzyme (kinase) inhibitors of oncogenic cascades, and to immune reactions of the host engendered by very special cancer vaccines. Caution: some cytokines and antibodies may enhance cancer cell growth. Cancer cells are killed by antibodies and lymphocytes (natural killer cells and immune T cells). Caution: suppressor T cells, macrophages, and tumor stroma may enhance the growth of cancer cells; some antibodies may induce fatal autoimmune reactions. Surgical removal, and judiciously administered chemo-radiotherapy remain useful cancer medicines. It will be no less, but the exact, precise combinations and the proper sequence of administration of these agents that will cure cancer.
